Health Education Services
Welcome to Health Services! We are the “health resource center” for LSC students, providing health education materials & health promotion events, referrals to local health care agencies, and health insurance information. We offer specific clinics throughout the year to include mantoux clinics and flu shot clinics.
We are part of the Tri-Campus Community Coalition on Student Drinking(T3C) and provide alcohol awareness & education. We are always looking for Alcohol Peer Educators to join our team to teach in classes on campus. Did you know we care about Mental Health on our campus? We have an Active Minds chapter for students interested in mental health education, awareness and advocacy at LSC.
Need to check your blood pressure? Stop by the Blood Pressure Kiosk near the stairs at the center entrance. Need brochures on specific health topics? There is a brochure rack outside of Health Services – Help yourself!
Health Services does not provide daily medical services to students or dispense medication of any sort. The LSC Bookstore sells a small selection of OTC medications, eye drops and 1st aid items for students’ convenience. If you have a medical emergency on campus, dial 9-911 or contact Campus Security. Campus Security is located at the East Entrance Information Desk. Campus Security are our First Responders. First Aid kits are available in Health Services and Campus Security.
