The LSC Diversity Committee is committed to fostering a positive learning and working environment. Our role is to assist in the creation of an environment in which every member of the college community is valued and has the opportunity to succeed. The Diversity Committee meets monthly during the academic year. The meetings are open to the LSC community.
Mission:
The Diversity Committee mission is to foster a culture that is inclusive and welcoming, to promote awareness and appreciation of diversity, and to address equity issues through advocacy and education.
Vision:
The Diversity Committee has a special responsibility to create and maintain a community that values and affirms diversity. This responsibility involves a commitment to the inclusion, understanding, support and respect for all individuals.
